The big day is almost upon us! We have quickly written this down to help you plan out your arrival to the wedding site.

Plan to take 30-40 minutes driving by car to get there from Florence. We will post signs along the way to help guide you to Montefiesole. Once you get to Montefiesole, you will find a fork in the road: to the left you go up towards the church, straight ahead a road towards the agriturism "Tassinaia" and to the right you go towards the woods. Take a right here and almost right away you will find the entrance into the parking area. You will need to park here and then walk back the 100 or so meters up to the church San Lorenzo.

The plan for the day:

5:00 p.m. Ceremony begins at San Lorenzo di Montefiesole.

6:00 p.m. After ceremony is over, newlyweds take a couple of pictures with family and friends outside the church.

6:30 p.m. Walk down to the "Villetta Tassinella" (back towards the parking area, then to the right) where the reception will take place and start off with drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

8:00 p.m. Move onto the back gardens for a buffet dinner.

9:30 p.m. Time for the cake and other desserts :o).

10:00 p.m. Dancing will hopefully begin soon… to help out, there will be drinks available :o)). There is no planned time to end the evening… so stay until you drop!

Remember we are planning an informal wedding, we hope to have fun with friends and family and to create wonderful memories of this day shared with those we care about.
